چکیده

In this paper we study the inverse boundary value problem of determining the potential in the Schrödinger equation from the knowledge of the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map, which is commonly accepted as an illposed problem in the sense that, under general settings, the optimal stability estimate is of logarithmic type. In this work, a Lipschitz type stability is established assuming a priori that the potential is piecewise constant with a bounded known number of unknown values.

Boundary temperature reconstruction in an inverse heat conduction problem using boundary integral equation method

‎In this paper‎, ‎we consider an inverse boundary value problem for two-dimensional heat equation in an annular domain‎. ‎This problem consists of determining the temperature on the interior boundary curve from the Cauchy data (boundary temperature and heat flux) on the exterior boundary curve‎. ‎To this end‎, ‎the boundary integral equation method is used‎. ‎Since the resulting system of linea...

Inverse Boundary Value Problem For The Helmholtz Equation: Quantitative Conditional Lipschitz Stability Estimates

We study the inverse boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation using the Dirichlet-toNeumann map at selected frequencies as the data. A conditional Lipschitz stability estimate for the inverse problem holds in the case of wavespeeds that are a linear combination of piecewise constant functions (following a domain partition) and gives a framework in which the scheme converges. The stabil...

Increasing Stability of the Inverse Boundary Value Problem for the Schrödinger Equation

In this work we study the phenomenon of increasing stability in the inverse boundary value problem for the Schrödinger equation. This problem was previously considered by Isakov in which he discussed the phenomenon in different ranges of the wave number (or energy). The main contribution of this work is to provide a unified and easier approach to the same problem based on the complex geometrica...

Monochromatic reconstruction algorithms for two-dimensional multi-channel inverse problems

We consider two inverse problems for the multi-channel two-dimensional Schrödinger equation at fixed positive energy, i.e. the equation −∆ψ+V (x)ψ = Eψ at fixed positive E, where V is a matrixvalued potential. The first is the Gel’fand inverse problem on a bounded domain D at fixed energy and the second is the inverse fixed-energy scattering problem on the whole plane R. We present in this pape...

Stability estimate in an inverse problem for non autonomous magnetic Schrödinger equations

We consider the inverse problem of determining the time dependent magnetic field of the Schrödinger equation in a bounded open subset of Rn, n ≥ 1, from a finite number of Neumann data, when the boundary measurement is taken on an appropriate open subset of the boundary. We prove the Lispchitz stability of the magnetic potential in the Coulomb gauge class by n times changing initial value suita...
